As for the intake the general recommendations is that for best practice and driveability even if it's stock sized. It is my understanding that there are two main options, autotech amd kmd We make these fuel pumps with precision machining methods, we then treat the surface and coat it for strength, and finally machine the internals again for a perfect fit that provides your mazdaspeed ultra.
N55 "Gauntlet" HPFP upgrade
Mazdaspeed max flow fuel pump internals are specifically designed for the mazda disi mzr and a complete pump rebuild kit combo so save money
With the opportunity to get this done coming up i am looking at my opinions
The 2 i keep seeing is corksport and autotech, they are both in the us and i'm sure they are quality parts, just. Autotech is a premier manufacturer of fuel pump upgrades for the disi mzr i4 engine because their kit offers the highest quality, solid engineering, and great value. Our mazdaspeed 3 hpfp kit achieves higher flow rates and performance specific mappings Tune is needed if you're changing the amount of air and/or fuel entering and/or leaving the engine
Hpfp internals do not change anything by themselves, they just ensure that fuel pressure stays in a safe. I’m looking at buying my first modifications for my car Everyone on tells me the first mod to buy is high pressure fuel pump internals Finally installing the most important mod on a mazdaspeed
We hope you guys have enjoying the video and everything there's to come
Don't forget to like and subscribe so you guys don't miss out. It has a hpfp, it seems like it doesn't have the upgraded internals which help with adequate fueling I ran my red gen 1 with an intake for about 6 months without upgrading the internals, but knowing this i never. Just installed my hpfp internals and cylinder compression is at 190 across the board
Looks like it's time for an accessport & power mods R/mazdaspeed3 copy link go to mazdaspeed3 r/mazdaspeed3. I am seriously considering either buying a hpfp or swapping out the internals
